Rachel is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in diverse roles in both official language environments. Her expertise spans Disability Management—including effective case management of WSIB workplace illnesses, injuries, as well as non-occupational injuries and/or illnesses. She has also created, trained, implemented, and managed Attendance Management Programs all while successfully implemented Return-to-Work and Duty to Accommodate initiatives, while respecting current legislative requirements.
Over the past twelve years leading up to her retirement, Rachel played a pivotal role in transforming workplace cultures by developing and managing Occupational Health and Safety programs. Her proactive, preventative approach has been instrumental in fostering safe, inclusive environments in both unionized and non-unionized settings.
Beyond program management, Rachel has a strong background in conducting internal investigations and collaborating with external agencies such as the Ministry of Labour etc.. Her comprehensive training programs and mediation efforts demonstrate her commitment to unbiased assessments and strategic recommendations, making her an invaluable resource in navigating complex human resource challenges.
