Ward Jones is a licensed Paralegal, and possesses a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University and an LLM from Osgoode Hall at York University (focus on labour relations and employment law).  During his first 10 years of work, he held various labour relations positions with provincial health care umbrella organizations, including the Ontario Hospital Association, the Manitoba Health Organization and the Newfoundland Hospital & Nursing Home Association.  This extensive hands-on and focused labour relations experience, involving the representation of hundreds of employers in varying jurisdictions with different legislative frameworks, has enabled Ward to become a highly qualified, versatile and specialized labour relations professional.  Since 1992, he has been a labour relations practioner in Ontario.

Ward has extensive experience in negotiating collective agreements, from small privately owned businesses to multi-employer central negotiations for publicly funded organizations, including presenting interest arbitration cases.  He has extensive experience representing employers at rights arbitration, with the ability to assist employers at mediation.  Well versed in jurisprudence, Ward is a resource for preventative advice on collective agreements, grievances, and other related union matters. Ward has conducted hundreds of management seminars, and has taught labour relations at some post-secondary institutions.
