Manika Kapur possesses a B.Sc. (Hons) in hospitality from Oxford Brookes University, UK and two (2) Post-Graduate Diplomas in Human Resources Management; one from Symbiosis University, India and the second from Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. She has a rich three (3) years of human resource experience to her credit. In addition, she has worked towards setting up the HR department including policy formulation, code of conduct, grievance redressal as well as strategic planning for a start-up in her home country of India. She is currently working towards her CHRP designation and is a keen follower of the HRPA Sudbury chapter.
Manika has a profound interest in workplace investigations, collective bargaining, interest-based negotiations, organizational development and union-management relationships, to name a few. She is enthused to become a successful mediator and ADR specialist (Alternate Dispute Resolution) in the future. She is a committed professional who demonstrates exceptional understanding of human behaviour and situations, thereby endowing her with innate problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
