B.A. (Hons.), B.Ed., M.A. ASSOCIATE
Linda Soutar holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in English and Psychology, as well as a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University. She also holds a Master of Arts in English with an interdisciplinary concentration in Drama and Fine Art from the University of Guelph. In 1999, Linda completed her Certificate in Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from Stitt Feld Handy Houston Inc. law firm in Toronto.
Linda’s success at conceptualizing a project and overseeing its implementation is complimented by her achievements as a persuasive writer, speaker and professionally recognized visual artist. As a former consultant with the Ontario Human Rights Commission’s Mediation Department, Linda has gone on to advise on disability accommodation issues in the workplace in both the public and private sectors. Linda is also a member of the Ontario College of Teachers. She has worked as an educator with both youth and adults in a diversity of settings including Canadian film and television, as well as the financial sector. Linda is a skillful team developer with experience in public relations. She has managed and furthered the development of a language program for international students at Laurentian University. Linda is currently a member of an advisory committee at Laurentian University that promotes the academic success and recognition of international students in their undergraduate studies as well as graduate level research.
