David McKillop is a graduate of the Human Resources Management program at Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario and holds an advanced diploma in Physical Fitness Business Management from Cambrian College.  He is a keen member of the HRPA Sudbury Chapter and is currently pursuing his professional CHRP designation in Human Resources.  Through education and years of work experience, David has learned about the various aspects of Human Resources in both theory and practice. David also brings experience from the worlds of business and marketing in both non-profit and for-profit organizations. He has completed courses in Excel, business administration, and accounting to upgrade his skills, and is comfortable working in the areas of training and development, organizational behaviour, staffing, compensation, recruitment and selection, labour relations, health and safety, disability management, conducting workplace investigations, along with a myriad of other duties of a human resource professional.

David has experience in labour relations, workplace wellness assessments, conducting workplace investigations, and developing human resource policies. In addition, he has worked in the field of disability management and has assisted with various projects and tasks related to WSIB and non-occupational injuries. As part of his time in disability management, David developed standards of work and established employer responsibilities relating to non-occupational injuries. Moreover, he has experience in collective bargaining including assisting with the development of a first collective agreement. David has supported recruitment through the pre-screening process of applicants based on collective agreement language.  These experiences have given him valuable insight in collective bargaining and navigating unionized environments.

With his combined passion for health/wellness and Human Resources, David strives each day to improve the health, safety and quality of work-life for all staff.
