Chris Vuorensyrja holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Laurentian University and a Human Resources Management Graduate Certificate from Cambrian College. From 2011 to 2017, Chris has utilized his HR skills to assist his clients as an HR Consultant, provided HR consulting services as an HR Generalist and now shares his knowledge and skills with the next generation of HR professionals in his role as a Cambrian College professor.
Chris has had the opportunity to spearhead projects and initiatives covering the full suite of the HR function. This experience has assisted Chris in the design and delivery of customized HR training initiatives that provide both the theory as well as relevant context to utilize best practices in the real world. In addition, he has a keen interest in strategic planning and over the years, Chris has developed an expertise in using the SOAR strategic planning technique in assisting organizations in designing high level forward-focused plans that stress stakeholder inclusiveness and continuous quality improvement.
