Bob graduated from Memorial University with a B. Comm. with a major in Industrial Relations. His ongoing educational development includes several courses at Queen's University and a diploma in Health Administration from the Canadian Hospital Association.
Most of Bob's post-graduate employment has been spent in the fields of human resources and labour relations. He has held specialist positions in Labour Relations, Compensation Management, and Staffing. Over the past twenty (20) years he has held senior management positions in the Hospital and Municipal Sectors. During part of this period, he has also provided a wide range of human resources and labour relations services to mostly public sector employers as a consultant. Since 1991 he has been affiliated with Canadore College as a Part-time Instructor in Labour Relations and Compensation Management. He is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario. As an experienced labour relations practitioner, Bob has a reputation for building and maintaining sound labour/management relations.
